Levi Eshkol Figurine

This 3D action figure is a miniature replica of Levi Eshkol (1895-1969) pioneer, farmer, minister, and the 3rd prime minister of Israel. Born in Ukraine, joined the “Tze'irei Zion” movement at the age of 16, and in 1914 immigrated to Israel. At the end of WW1 he joined the Jewish Legion of the British Army. In 1920, Eshkol was one of the founders of the Histadrut, the Haganah, and in 1937 he was one of the founders of Mekorot. In 1948 he was elected head of the settlement department of the Jewish Agency. From 1952 to 1963, he served as Minister of Finance, and after Ben-Gurion's retirement was appointed Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. During his tenure, the Six Day War broke out. After the war, Eshkol ensured the unification of Jerusalem by applying the Israeli law to its entire territory.
