Theodor Herzl Figurine - The Balcony Version
Figurine of Theodor Herzl (1860-1904) | The visionary of the Jewish state, father of political Zionism and the founder of the World Zionist Organization. The figurine in its balcony version was produced and launched in honor of the 125th anniversary celebrations of the first Zionist Congress held in Basel, 1897. A replica of the famous photograph from 1902, taken by the artist E.M. Lilien, in which Theodor Herzl is seen overlooking the Rhine River from the balcony of the Three Kings Hotel in the city of Basel, Switzerland, during his stay in the city on the occasion of the Fifth Zionist Congress.
